MUSLIMS PREFER CALLING ALLAH AS ALLAH, INSTEAD OF THE ENGLISH WORD 'GOD', BECAUSE:

The Arabic word 'Allah' is pure and unique, unlike the English word 'God'.

(1) A person can play around with the english word 'God' . . .

(2) God+s= Gods: if you add the alphabet 's' to 'God' it becomes 'Gods' that is plural of 'God'. Allah is One and Singular, there is no plural of Allah . . .

(3) God+dess=Goddess: if you add 'dess' to 'God' it becomes 'Goddess' that is a female God. There is nothing like male 'Allah' of female 'Allah', Allah has no gender . . .

(4) God+father= Godfather: if you add the word 'father' to 'God' it becomes 'Godfather', he is my Godfather i.e he is my guardian. There is nothing like 'Allah Abba' or 'Allah father' in Islam . . .

(5) God+mother=Godmother: if you add the word 'mother' to 'God' it becomes 'Godmother'. There is nothing like 'Allah ammi' or 'Allah mother' in Islam . . .

(6) Tin+God= tinGod: if you put 'tin' before 'God' it becomes 'tinGod' i.e a fake God. There is nothing like 'tin Allah' or 'fake Allah' in Islam . . .

Allah is an Unique word, with which can neither conjure up a mental picture, nor can it be played arround with. 'Allah' is the name mentioned for the One Unique and True God in the Holy Qur'an. Therefore, muslims prefer calling 'Allah', but sometimes while speaking to non-muslims we may have to use the inappropriate word 'God' for Allah . .

No matter what name we have in this world,

at the end we all will be called
 "MAYYiT"
Whatever luxurious vehicles we drive today, at the end we will be taken as
 "JANAZA"

No matter house we staying in today, at the end we have to live in
"QABAR"
whatever clothes we wear today at the end we will be wearing
"KAFAN"
No matter how far we travel in this world, at the end we have to fly off with a common
VISA:
 "KULLU NAFSIN ZA'IQATUL MAUT" . . .

May Allah make our journey easy and make our final destination Jannah Firdaus . Amen!

Committing sins while fasting can ruin your fast.

You see some people listening to music while fasting, other fixing attachment hair to their hair, some dancing, lying, wearing tight fitted cloth etc

The Prophet (peace and blessings

of Allaah be upon him) said: “When
any of you is fasting, let him not
 commit sin…”

(Reported by al-
 Bukhaari, al-Fath, no. 1904).

The
 Prophet (peace and blessings of
 Allaah be upon him) said:
 “Whoever does not stop speaking
 falsehood and acting in accordance
with it, Allaah has no need of him
giving up his food and drink.”

(Al-
 Bukhaari, al-Fath, no. 1903).

The
person who is fasting should avoid
all kinds of haraam actions, such
 as backbiting, obscenity and lies,
otherwise his reward may all be
 lost. The Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him)
said: “It may be that a fasting
person gets nothing from his fast
 except hunger.”

(Reported by Ibn
 Maajah, 1/539;

May Allah! have mercy on you.Amen

How should we welcome the month of ramadaan?

Praise be to Allaah. The month of Ramadaan is the best month of the year, because Allaah has chosen it to make fasting this month obligatory and the fourth pillar of Islam and He has prescribed for the Muslims to spend its nights in prayer, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Islam is built on five (pillars): testimony that there is no god but Allaah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah, establishing prayer, paying zakaah, fasting Ramadaan and performing pilgrimage to the House (Ka’bah).” Agreed upon. And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever spend the nights of Ramadaan in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” Agreed upon. I do not know of any specific way of welcoming Ramadaan, but the Muslim should welcome it with joy and happiness and thanking Allaah for enabling him to reach Ramadaan, for He has caused him to be among the living who compete in doing righteous deeds. Reaching Ramadaan is a great blessing from Allaah. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to give his companions the glad tidings of the arrival of Ramadaan and explain its virtues, and the great reward that Allaah has prepared for those who fast and who spend the night in prayer. It is prescribed for the Muslim to welcome this blessed month with sincere repentance and preparations to fast and pray qiyaam, with a sound intention and sincere resolve. End quote. Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) Majmoo’ Fataawa wa Maqaalaat Mutanawwi’ah (15/9)

10 TIPS ON HOW TO CONCETRATE DURING SALAT (PRAYERS

▼▽▼ 10 (TIPS ON HOW TO CONCETRATE DURING SALAT (PRAYERS) ▼▽▼

Number1.
 Before standing up for Prayer, try to deal with all the minor urgent matters which demand your attention. If you are pressed by hunger, eat first;
if you are pressed to attend to the call of nature, relieve yourself; if you are the parent of an infant, feed him or her, or keep him or her busy.

Number2.
Perform your wudu’(ablution) well, paying due care and attention.

Number3.
Approach the Prayer with zest and passion as if it is the last prayer in your life before dying. Actually the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that we could do nothing in this world that could ever surpass Prayer in merit and excellence.

Number4.
Visualize that in your Prayer you are going to have a special audience with Allah, Lord of the worlds, and that you are enjoying a direct communion with Him—which, in fact, is true.

Number5.
Think of the Prayer you are performing as if it were the last Prayer of your life. Infact, it could very well be the last one, since no one is given a guarantee that he would live to perform another Prayer.

Number6.
Picture the scene of the Last Day when people will be lined up into two groups, one destined for Heaven, and another for Hell, and ask yourself where you would be placed.

Number7.
Focus your mind on what you are reading in your Prayer and recite simple suurats that you understand it's meaning and ponder on the meaning while you recite.

Number8.
If, in spite of your best efforts, your mind is still wandering, seek refuge in Allah and bring your mind back to Prayer.

Number9.
Pray to Allah and beg Him to grant you true the joy of concentrating in your Prayer and protection against the wanderings of your mind.

number10.
Place your eye sight to the one spot where you will be making your sujuud while you recite and avoid taking your eyes from that spot.

May Allah protect us from the tricks of shaitan during prayers and forgive us our mistakes...
