When you go to the masjid don't hurry to join the congregation as this will cause you to lose your breath and lessen your concentration, instead proceed with tranquility . . . Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrated: "When you hear the iqama, proceed to offer the prayer with calmness and solemnity and do not make haste. And pray whatever you are able to pray and complete whatever you have missed . . . [Bukhari vol 1 book 11 No 609]
